This is my 2nd Tom-Tom unit (my wife assumed check of my prior unit!!). I get had this unit for a hebdomad now, and experience made a couple of mid-range trips where I relied on the truth of the map data. Perfect performance therefore far. It is identical like to my other Tom Tom unit, and the map info seems very current. I will believably update the mapping info on a bi-annual base by buying a service plan, only I expected that when I purchased the unit.The other reviews I read on Amazon for this unit appear to be expecting likewise much. Having dead up to date maps for a refurbished unit appears unreasonable. Also, even if the maps are almost a yr old, that is still good adequate for me. The roads don’t alter that frequently, and you should require to motivation to update the function every match of years anyway. This device works alike a charm, decently away of the box. It is slowly to plug into my USB port on my computer to update the info and prompts me to do it TomTom XL 330S when necessary. I have employed it over 20 times and it forever has gotten me to where I wanted to go. I don’t know how I lived without it.
