I actually researched extensively to do the Garmin tomtom go 740 gps 1690 or the 740 Live….I experience I created the right choice. IQ Routes appear to really do the job! I’m loving the Live features. Speaker get nice and Loud while yet sounding clear. I alive in Chicago, thus it gets a literal workout with the traffic routing and such. The climb works like a champ, never has fallen. Battery sprightliness looks fine for me. screen is tardily to see, if you see some glare from lights behind you, simply tweak the angle, your good! Touch screen responds well, TomTom Abode software wokrs similar a champ as well. I recommend updating once a hebdomad for the newest maps through mapshare(ROCKS!), and for traffic safety lights.
